hot run!

Today was quite hot. The heat made it hard. I did the same run as last Tuesday. Ran from the gym up to the old waterslide to tumbi rd then back. 22km in 1:38:04. (4:27 a km) Last week I did it in 1:42:34, so 4:30 quicker today. Thats not bad considering the heat.
I started off at a moderate pace & tried to keep that pace the whole way. But at the end with brooks hill & it getting hotter it was too hard. But still kept a great pace.
Knee was good.

Had normal b'fast...4 slices of toast with jam & coffee
Before run had a protien drink
Lunch was can coke, choc milkshake & 6inch roast beef sub with all the salads from subway.
Afternoon snack was 2 apricot delight rolls & 1 cape fruit & nut roll from Bakers delight
Dinner was a cheesy pasta bake
Drank 4lt water

Tomorrow I'll do a light morning run, then the 6@6 in the arvo
